Develop your character’s alchemical skills and create the products that players lust after and you’ll make serious gold.

While Elixir Mastery is probably the most profitable specialty for an Alchemist, you can still earn lots of gold with Potion Mastery and Transmutation Mastery as well. It all comes down to knowing what other players are going to need and putting yourself in the position to fulfill those needs.

Flasks, with their ability to last through death, are the most valuable products of Elixir Mastery. Once you know the best-selling types of flasks, you can start cranking them out to start building up your gold supply. And while you will probably focus on Flasks, don’t forget your Elixirs. Producing the most popular elixirs can be very profitable, even if not in the same league as flasks.

If Potion Mastery is your thing, you’ll have lots of options for using your skill to make gold. In general, the Runic and Protection potions will make you the most money, but Wild Magic and speed potions are profitable too, and depending on market conditions, might even be a better choice on any given day.

If your character is a Transmutation master, your ability to earn gold is limited by the cooldown delay between transmutations. Still, certain types of transmutations can earn you significant amounts of gold since the products of the spell are vitally important to certain crafters.
